Arjuna Needleworks was started in 2018. Coming from a background working at a Brick and Mortar Military Surplus store, there was a lot of exposure to International and US Made military equipment from the past 100 years. Such an amazing opportunity to study and analyze design and construction of some of the most ruggedized and specialized pieces of equipment manufactured en mass. Transitioning to a career in a busy Urban 911 Emergency system had quickly shown a need for high quality bags when performing job duties. The bags became a personal item carried by those who wanted something more custom to become more effective in job operations. The first bags fielded by Paramedics were often loaded with essential Point of Wounding trauma supplies and medication administration for Gunshot wounds. Soon after surrounding communities began adopting our bags. Law Enforcement Officers carried pistols, EOD or breaching tools and medical equipment in their Legacy scene bags. Firefighters carried Rope Bags for Emergency Window or roof bailout kits and Organizers of other PPE. Specialty technicians carried bags on events such as LEVEL A HAZMAT operations or Technical Rope rescue and wilderness trail rescue emergency responses. Emergency Department Nurses and Physicians carried assessment tools and IV/Medication admin supplies. Most bags within the Mission division have found a home in one of these settings. Within these groups of amazing people are many high functioning and adventurous individuals with an array of active hobbies and interests. We made many bags for Mountain bikers, rock climbers, ultramarathon athletes and snowboarders all who needed a high quality and unique piece of gear to aide them in their activity. Life is a journey and many people make the most of it traveling to see the many great things in the world. Our bags are also tailored to provide those with a nomadic lifestyle a stylish and durable solution to organize and protect items when traveling. All bags are constructed with US sourced and US manufactured Materials. Many materials are BERRY Compliant US Made Fabrics and components. The designs made are often given a small amount of color or accent. For some reason, as a civilian, having too much camoflauge can make one stand out even more. This is not always the best, especially when carrying certain tools or traveling internationally. We do our best to make beautiful high quality handmade bags. Taking care of the people who take care of us is a priority and we hope that our bags can allow folks to operate at their best during high stress situations. We want to provide a bag for a user that exists and thrives in spaces where you cannot afford to have your bag fail.
