Capacity: The capacity of rope depends on the user preference. The type of rope carried by Firefighters and operations varies based on the operational needs of the user and personal preference. Some users only want rope for utility rope and dont want to carry rope for any potential lifesafety or bailout purpose, Others carry carabiners and friction devices fixed onto the rope inside of the bag. There are various diameters and types of rope that will all fit differently in the bag.

Theres a photo for refrence of one bag which has the contents of my personal ropebag. Inside the bag shown there is 40 Feet of 8 mm rope with a small Figure 8 plate friction device and 2 carabiners. There is another photo of just the rope and hardware that was inside of the bag as shown hanging from the leather Axe belt. 

Rope and hardware are not included but we wanted to provide a refrence for capacity.

Mounting Options: The Bag has a Stainless Steel Trigger Snap buckle attached to the main body of the bag and reinforced with heavy duty stitching onto the main body of the bag. This buckle was selected because of its secure attachment however still has a break away feature preventing the rope bag from being a fixed hard mounted attachment on the body minimizing snag or entanglement hazard for firefighters. The bag can also be attached with common carabiners to various areas on gear based on user preference and operational practices. Some potential carry locations are on a Firefighter Axe belt, SCBA Harness or turnout gear allowing for flexible positioning based on your personal loadout
